RN or LPN Charge Nurse| Full Time | SNF (Skilled Nursing)

Work Schedule and Shift PremiumsFull time 40 hours/week Mostly days, but must be able to work a varied schedule including night and weekend hours with visibility to all shiftsSB 690 pay is $2.
35/hr while performing skilled nursing unit patient care, 2nd shift premium is $2.
00/hr, 3rd shift premium is $3.
05/hr, weekend premium is $1.

403(b) with match Education assistance and continuing education - many courses offered on-site at the hospital The personal satisfaction of caring for people in our Skilled Nursing Facility Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid Michigan RN license, or LPN license with leadership/management experience (If an LPN, must work towards completion of RN) BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital) Knowledgeable in CMS requirements for skilled and long-term nursing Proficient computer skills, including spreadsheets, and the ability to learn all systems used on the unit including CPSI, PCC, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
Ability to prioritize quality and safety, cope effectively with change, accurately assess situations and politely/diplomatically guide staff to meet performance expectations Possess a broad nursing knowledge, leadership skills and experience, and ability to accept responsibility, exercise authority, and function independently Possess insight for employee growth and development and the ability to do effective impartial counseling Working knowledge of budgets and healthcare finance Able to work a varied schedule, to include night and weekend hours, with visibility to all shifts Responsibilities Supervise the department in an efficient manner by planning, organizing and controlling all activities in collaboration with the Director of Nursing Implement, interpret and enforce work standards and procedures within the unit that are in compliance with hospital policies, governmental regulations and various regulatory agency requirements.
Serve as a role model for nursing staff by complying with established policies and procedures.
Incorporate total quality management concepts into unit operations Develop, implement, monitor and enforce the principles of effective nursing care on the unit Develop effective communications between unit personnel, physicians and other departments to assure continuity, coordination and collaboration in delivering services Provide direct patient care when higher levels of skill and judgment are required.
Demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
Relieve other charge nurses / managers and nurse supervisors as required.
May work different shifts and/or days for orientation, training and evaluation of personnel in the unit.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field so you can recommend appropriate new services, products, and equipment that become available Continue professional development by attending education programs designed for nursing leaders Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Communication Content Management Curiosity Finance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
